Volusia School Fuel is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing nutritional fuel for Volusia County elementary students to develop physically and improve on academics and behavior.
It is our goal to help reduce the number of food insecure elementary aged children in Volusia County by providing child friendly food directly in the hands of those children in need. Many of these children rely heavily on breakfast and lunch provided at school as their main source of meals. Our hope is that by providing nutritious food every week during the school year for consumption over the weekend promotes improvement in academics and behavior. At the end of the day, we want them to be successful at school without the stress of hunger as a distraction.
